The DNT HYDRA HS225 3-12x Thermal Scope / Spotter is a powerful, multi-function thermal optic designed for hunters, shooters, and professionals who require precision in a compact, lightweight package. Importantly, it can be used as both a weapon-mounted thermal scope and a handheld thermal spotter. As a result, the HYDRA offers outstanding versatility across a wide range of applications.

At the heart of the HYDRA is a high-sensitivity <25mK NETD thermal sensor, which is combined with DNT’s AI-driven Super Resolution Image Algorithm. Consequently, image detail remains sharp even at higher digital zoom levels. In contrast, many thermal optics lose clarity as magnification increases.

High-Performance Thermal Imaging

The HYDRA features a 12μm uncooled infrared sensor delivering 256×192 resolution at 50Hz. In addition, it is paired with a crisp 1024×768 Micro-OLED display, which ensures smooth, high-contrast thermal imagery. Therefore, users benefit from clear visuals in total darkness, poor weather, and challenging outdoor environments.

Furthermore, the built-in Picture-in-Picture (PiP) mode allows precise target identification. For example, you can zoom in on a heat source while still maintaining full situational awareness in the primary field of view.
